LENS is a full-day a cappella education and community experience hosted by Cut Off Studios! Our event is designed for contemporary a cappella groups of all levels who are eager to learn and love what they do. At each LENS event we bring together six to ten groups, either from different schools in the area or from one school, to
Learn, Envision, Network, and Sing!
Our LENS events consist of four main components:
Workshops
Your group members are able to choose from a variety of educational classes taught by our expert team, learning side by side with members from other groups. Class topics can include arranging, competition preparation, leadership, performance techniques, vocal percussion and more!
Networking
Supporting a strong a cappella community is one of our core values here at Cut Off Studios. Through engaging and interactive activities, everyone will have the chance to meet, share with and learn from other members of the a cappella community and build lasting friendships.
Masterclasses
Led by one of our experienced clinicians, each group has the opportunity to receive one-on-one instruction during their master classes. During this time, your group can receive feedback and insight on areas specific to your needs. And don't be shy with any questions you may have for
your clinician-this is YOUR time!
Showcase
Our event closes with a performance showcase, allowing each group to share their talents and show some of what they have learned during the day at LENS in an encouraging and inclusive environment.
